In-Season Costs
The familiar golden arches of MacDonald's are about all you'll find in the $5 or less range. Expect to pay $6-$10 for lunch and upwards of $15 for dinner. Seek lodging specials in this popular destination; hotel costs begin at sixty dollars.

Day Trips
Disney! Also: Universal Studios, Knott's Berry Farm, multiple beaches, the Crystal Cathedral in Garden Grove, the Pacific Aquarium in Long Beach, and Movieland Wax Museum in Buena Park. Many of these day trip destinations are accessible by shuttle service, check with your hotel desk. The San Diego Zoo and Wildlife Park are close enough for day tripping.
